Methodology
We do not claim to be the final judge of truth. We compare coverage, identify shared facts, and highlight framing differences.
How briefs are structured
Each brief is organized around a consistent format:
- What happened
- What most sources agree on
- Where coverage differs
- Confirmed facts
- Framing or bias signals
- Left-leaning and right-leaning interpretations
- Middle-ground breakdown
- What is still unknown
- Why it matters
Scoring
Scores are editorial aids, not absolute judgments. They are used to help readers quickly understand a story’s importance, source agreement, confidence level, and partisan heat.
